Jatkoaika.com is the leading hockey site in Finland. In this session we will go through some of the common obstacles we met and best practices to solve them using live sports site example.

We will explain Jatkoaika.com site structure. It is based on relations which means a common hierarchy based structure could not be used as in most of other Drupal sites.

When to use Drupal and when not? Can we be honest about Drupal strengths and shortcomings? Using his personal 12-year experience with Drupal the speaker goes through several case studies to assess whenever Drupal was or was not a right choice at that time. The end goal is to widen perspective of web development, dropping the "Drupal-goggles" and seeing it as one of the many tools in the fast-moving web landscape.
