Jatkoaika - Building sports website using Drupal

Jatkoaika.com is the leading hockey site in Finland. In this session we will go through some of the common obstacles we met and best practices to solve them using live sports site example.

We will explain Jatkoaika.com site structure. It is based on relations which means a common hierarchy based structure could not be used as in most of other Drupal sites.

In this session we will also tell how we met the main goals of the project, for example game and statistics management, migration from the old system, Apache SOLR search, SM-liiga XML feeds, SEO and performance requirements.
